There are five major categories under the system – age, language proficiency, skill, work experience, and educational background. You also get extra points in case of the following conditions –
1) If you are studying at a university in Oz.
2) If you are accredited by the NAATI (National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters).
3) If you have completed a Professional Year course as specified by the government.
4) If you have a partner or spouse which meets the basic requirements for making Skilled Migration.
